Jade Heaven

The Jade Heaven pendant designed and made by Lenni, is made from old Chinese jade that we bought in Hong Kong.  Consequently there are only a limited number of these pendants.  In China, in Neolithic times the annulus shape represented the sky or heaven.    Confucius suggested that jade contains the symbols of harmony, intelligence, justice and humanity.  Chinese Alchemists believed that Jade was a key to the elixir of life.  The jade annulus is approximately 2.5 cm in diameter and is threaded on a hand pulled silver wire which is around 16cm. - Click on image for larger view
