Boudicca’s Wheel

The design was inspired Boudicca’s last battle against the Romans.    Her icon of the chariot may have been a part of her downfall.    Whilst there is debate about the actual site there are several reasons for suspecting Mancetter is the site; the description by Tacitus, the routes(Watling Street), and that the Roman name for Mancetter signified The place of the Chariot wheel. The pin is made from silver and pink tourmaline.  Pink tourmaline is associated with feminine energies. It vibrates a deep resonance with the heart chakra. It has the potential to heal emotional wounds.
